A student begins the morning with an Honors-level laboratory session, working through quantitative problem sets and hands-on experiments in stoichiometry, equilibrium, and reaction kinetics.
Dual Enrollment: Psychology
Mid-morning is spent attending a university course, Introduction to Psychology, at a local partner campus or through a hybrid digital format.
American Literature Honors
Midday sessions turn to close reading and analytical writing, tracing the American literary tradition from its colonial roots to contemporary voices — the kind of primary-source depth expected in college-level humanities work.
AP Calculus Problem Sets
Afternoon sessions focus on rigorous problem-solving within the Advanced Placement curriculum, preparing for national standardized examinations.
Latin III Honors
Afternoon coursework shifts to unadapted Latin translation, moving from grammar mastery into the literary style of authors like Ovid, Cicero, and Caesar.
Percussion IV Honors
The day winds down in the ensemble room, where advanced percussionists rehearse solo and ensemble literature and take on a leadership role within the group.
